Construction

The GT-324 provides the functionality of a bench unit in a portable package. A fully integrated RH/Temp sensor immediately provides data to the displayed & logged data. The GT-324 features a simple user interface via a single multifunction rotary dial. The self-contained battery pack powers the unit for 8 hours of continuous operation. The included AC adapter/charger operates the GT-324 even when the battery pack is discharged & recharges the depleted battery in 2.5 hours.

Operation

The GT-324 allows the user to select particle sizes with four programmable count channels with 0.3 to 10 microns each showing differential or cumulative particle counts in real time, with selectable count units.

The GT-324 a simple and powerful menu-driven command set. The rotary dial sets particle sizes, sample time, alarm settings and basic setup parameters such as date/time and communications settings. The GT-324 can store up to 2,200 sample events. Sample history can be viewed on the local display or downloaded to a computer using the Particle View software. With flexible data interfaces the GT-521S can stores up to 4,000 records for printer output, Excel® formatted output, or networked datalogging via the included single computer software (GT-Comm).

The GT-324 is battery powered with 24 hours of typical (intermittent) operation or 8 hours of continuous operation from a single charge. Recharge time is approximately 2.5 hours. The GT-324 is equipped with a temperature / relative humidity sensor which immediately adds ambient temperature and relative humidity capabilities to the displayed and logged data.
