Linear shakers, which shake liquids or specimens in a back-and-forth motion (as opposed to circular or orbital), are offered through New Star Environmental in both analog and digital versions. The features of analog and digital shakers are comparable – it’s just a matter of preference. Both are compact; both have speed controls, however, the digital versions are displayed with an LED screen; and both have shakers that are designed with anti-slip platforms to securely hold flasks, test tubes, etc. Some digital linear shakers feature platform options that are sold separately.
