Acid Precipitation Sampler

New Star Environmental carries state-of-the-art acid precipitation samplers for laboratory use. Installed outdoors, these acid samplers collect rainfall for further analysis. As rainfall is increasingly tainted with acidity and other contaminants that stem from automotive and industrial pollutants, these acid precipitation samplers allow technicians to measure and study a rainfall’s acidity. Once rainfall is gathered, these acid samplers accurately separate precipitation by total rainfall and total dry particulate deposition. Technicians can then examine these results and determine a rainfall’s pH levels, conductivity, and specific ions. Each instrument features four main systems: a sensor system, a control system, a drive system, and a collector system.
